We want to have the successful loving relationship. We want to have the amazing friend group right. We want to have the successful business. We want it all. I get it. We want it all. We live in a society where we desire it all. But if we look and focus back on gratitude and thankfulness and look around our home and our community and look how much we've already built and all of the work that we've already done, and remember that if we continue to take the action, the beautiful blessings are going to continue to pour in. Hello, hello and welcome back to Mindfully Moody, your favorite podcast. My name is Hannah and I am so grateful to welcome you here to the Mindfully Moody family.
Speaker 1:On Mindfully Moody we talk about self-development, spirituality and tapping into the highest version of yourself. So welcome to the family. I'm so grateful that you're here. We have over three years of content to binge, talking about just all of the depths and trials and tribulations that we've experienced in our lifetime and how we have overcame and healed and worked through the trauma, the difficult relationships, the challenging times in our career. We have so much content for you to binge and on this podcast we really talk about our journey and our process of moving through these energetic blocks that create friction in our life, and I hope that throughout some sort of episode, you can find some sort of healing within yourself and that you are coming and clicking on this episode to have the intention to return back home to yourself.
Speaker 1:So, kicking off this new era in Mindfully Moody of me running Mindfully Moody by myself, sarah has exited stage, left for the time being focusing on her beautiful pregnancy, which we love and support so much, and for me, it's this new journey of thinking about how I can take Mindfully Moody to a different level and continue to bring this level of support and guidance and insight from my life, the things that I'm learning, and bring it to you guys so you guys can hopefully process information in a more efficient way. That's why we started Mindfully Moody to share the things that we were going through. And, as I've been reflecting and going through this transition of doing the podcast on my own, I've been so grateful for the past three years that Sarah and I have been on this podcast and how healing it has been for me. Truly, it's been like a therapy session for us to show up, have conversations and talk about things that are on our heart and what we're doing to actively work through them. Something that has been on my heart that I want to bring to this podcast episode today.
Speaker 1:That has been coming up continuously in my life and my friend Jenna brought it to me yesterday when we were at a girl's celebration kava situation she said take action without expectation. Okay, so often in life we are in a rush to get from point a to point b to point c, to get the results. And, girls, you know I'll be preaching that to the day that I die. Right, action, go, take the action to get what you want. Right, I am all about that.
Speaker 1:But sometimes it can get frustrating in those moments when we're continuing to take action but we're not feeling the results come into play. So we want to give up, right? So often people will put a little bit of effort in here and there and then they won't get the things that they want and then they give up and they try a new strategy, right? And this was reflected in me yesterday and it made me just really think about my life and how many times I've done this, where I'm taking action and if I don't get the results that I want, immediately I give up. Is that something that you see in your life? That there's something that you so deeply desire, something that so deeply aligns with you as a human and your values, that you are trying to do things, to take physical action, and you're not getting the results that you want. So you want to give up. Do you feel that in yourself? Because oftentimes, when we are taking the physical action, our energetic world is aligned with that version of us. It's literally impossible for us not to get what we want, but we usually give up a bit too soon before the results can actually come.
Speaker 1:So there's this concept, right, of taking the aligned action without expectation. Whatever it is that you want in your life, right? Maybe it is the job, the career you're so actively seeking something new for yourself, but you're not holding on long enough to get that thing because you're not getting the results that you want. You're not getting the immediate dream job, you're not landing the immediate dream clients because you haven't put in enough time. You're expecting to do a little bit of action and then you're to receive it immediately.
Speaker 1:That short-term thinking, that short-term desire is unrealistic in some aspects. Like the quote, nothing good came easy is so true. Like the best things in life, they take work, they take intentionality, they take true deep work and thought and process and structure in order to bring it to life. And what it's about is just continuing to take the aligned action, like creating this, like repetitive cycle of the person that you want to become, creating this like repetitive cycle of the person that you want to become, getting so locked in in those actions of what that person would do, and then just grinding out and doing those things. And if you stay focused on doing the things, over that expectation of the results, life is going to get a whole lot easier and a whole lot smoother, I'm telling you right now.

Speaker 1:I had a solo episode in the past talking about enjoying the journey rather than the destination. Right, this is the same thing, and I was in church this morning and, of course, everything that I'm playing with in my mind and in my reality is reflected to me in church. It's like God saying yes, this is what you should be focusing on. Because they said, as long as you take faith, take action with faith in mind, god will deliver miracles. It's like, as long as you stay in that process of being focused on the path, on the journey, on doing the things that you're supposed to be doing, god will deliver. Right the, the universe, whoever it is that you believe in, the blessings will come. As long as you stay focused, and you might be like Hannah. What am I even focusing on this? This could be anything right, like for me, there are multiple areas of life that I'm focusing on and I'm so locked in on doing these things.
Speaker 1:So for you you, it could be something specific, right, it could be. You, so locked in in your business, right, if you have a business, right you just continuing to hammer in and figure out who your ideal client is and the problem that you're serving and the solution that you're bringing to the world in your business, right, you're just in this like cog and wheel, like going back and forth, like really going so deep until you perfect this ideal client who you desire to make an impact on in the world. Right, and it's that aligned action of doing everything in your power to make that thing perfect, right. So if a business you know the business analogy isn't aligning, for you it could be health, right, like health is a perfect example of this right. Taking aligned action without expectation, right. So ideally, the expectation is going to be that people want to hit their goal weight. Right, you want to be 140 pounds and be skinny. Looking in the mirror, that's your expectation of what you're going to get from eating healthy and exercising. Right, but if you just remained focused on what you should be doing in order to get the result that you want, rather than focusing and waiting every single day for that result to come.
Speaker 1:Focusing your energy on the day-to-day and falling in love with the process and the actions that you need to take in order to become that version of you. So, falling in love with a movement practice. Yesterday I met this cool girl and she was talking about what was lighting her up in the moment, and she was practicing this like exploration of movement, and so she was going and exploring all of these different types of exercises right Boxing, sensual dancing, jujitsu. She was like naming all of these like exercises that she's exploring because she's dialing in that area of her life. Right, she's not focused on like yeah, really focused on like dropping 20 pounds. Like no, she's not focused on like yeah, really focused on like, dropping 20 pounds. Like no, she's focused on enjoying the journey and finding a movement and embodiment practice that works for her.
Speaker 1:I thought that was such a beautiful example of like being in that aligned action and focusing on that journey of like. Let me have fun and let me play here and not so much focus on like the result of the situation, but enjoy the process that I'm in. Right, so if you're on a journey in, you know, health and trying to become that healthiest version of yourself, like how can you fall in love with that process? Like making it a game, like, oh, I get to go to Costco and find like the highest protein food. Or I'm going to try out carnivore this week because you, oh, I get to go to Costco and find like the highest protein food. Or I'm going to try out carnivore this week because you know, I heard that carnivore has a lot of benefits on your health.
Speaker 1:And Like there are just ways that we can take the aligned action and fall in love with the actions that we're doing to become that version of us and who we desire to be. And when we take our energy off of that end person who we desire to become and move our energy to falling in love with the process, it becomes easier because we no longer are seeking, we're no longer longing and grabbing for this version of us outside of the present moment. We're actually taking our power back and grounding into the moment of who we are and what we have control of in this moment, right now. Bringing it back to other examples right, maybe there is something that you're working on in your life related to relationships, right, I know Valentine's Day is coming up and I want to send all of the love to my single girls out there who are so deeply desiring to be in a relationship and just haven't found that partner. And if there are any guys listening to this podcast who also are desiring and calling in partnership and haven't found that quite yet, I'm sending you love during this season of love. And, as cliche as it sounds, don't forget to use the month of February to pour into your own cup, romanticize the fuck out of your life and fall in love with the person who you are and the life that you've built, because the more you love yourself, the more you love your life. That person is going to be magnetized so much more easily and effortlessly into your life. So continue being in this beautiful embodiment in your sacred singleness era.
Speaker 1:But, going back to it, if you're in this singleness era, right, and if you are looking for a relationship, how can you fall in love with the process rather than, instead of getting jaded right From the situation that you might be in, like, fuck dating, I'm always going on bad dates. I just want to have my partner. I get it. I get it firsthand. I feel like that a lot of times, but I have to ask myself focusing on not having the result is getting me farther from where I want to be. So ask yourself is focusing on not having the thing getting you closer to your goals or taking you farther away from your goals? I really would like you to contemplate that right.
Speaker 1:So if you're in a relation, if you're looking for a relationship, right, how can you dive deeper into this beautiful process of being in this moment now and enjoying the action that you get to take? Right, if you're desiring a relationship, just thinking like, oh my gosh, how fun is this? That I'm never going to be in this singleness again in my life. I'm going to be married the rest of my life. Let me enjoy the process of this. Let me enjoy the process of going out and dating and swiping on the apps and seeing these cute guys or girls and being in this like process of getting to meet people and like dissecting new information and getting getting dressed up and getting cute Like. I know it's freaking annoying sometimes, I get it. It's annoying to hear.
Speaker 1:But we have two options. One we can be totally pessimistic and totally in this victim mindset of why we don't have the thing that we desire, or we can choose a different path and we can choose to be in belief that this is coming for me. What a beautiful opportunity for me to be in this space right now, to not have the thing that I desire and to be able to actively work and getting what I want and trying out different methods and exploring and learning. This is what the process is about, the process of life and getting what we want. It is about the actions. It's about the energetics that we have to balance when we're in these moments of learning about ourselves, learning about who we are, learning new tools, tips, strategies to get us closer to the version of us who we desire to become.
Speaker 1:Right Now, I'm not saying like totally, don't focus on that end result, but it's the deep desire and longing that I will be happy when I get that right. Right, because then you're just gonna be chasing your entire life and we don't wanna be chasing. We want to be attracting right and being in the action, loving the process. That is that attraction mode of just feeling fulfilled, feeling excited, feeling energized by what is on our list of to-dos today right, rather than counting all the to-dos and hoping that we end up in the place that we want to be in in three, six months, two years, five years. This is an invitation to you, an invitation for you to stop focusing so much on what you do not have and start seeing all the beautiful aspects of your life and the things that you have created thus far.
Speaker 1:You have worked so freaking hard to be in the place that you currently are. Trust me, I know, I see you. I know all the work that you've been doing behind the scenes. I see you, I feel you, I know how much work you've been doing and I'm proud of you, and you should be proud of you too. Okay, so, just because you haven't lost the 20 pounds of you and you should be proud of you too. Okay, so just because you haven't lost the 20 pounds or you haven't got the boyfriend or you haven't got the dream career yet, that doesn't mean that you should give up. Take note about how much work and effort that you've put in and how much energy you've used to kind of perfect your life and the systems that you've built and the routines that you're in. Be so freaking proud of who you are and the things that you have already done, because you've come so far and when you can remain in that relentless action that you've been taking, it is a no-brainer for all the things that you desire to be coming into your life very soon.
Speaker 1:Okay, this is what I practice. I feel a huge up-leveling coming in my life, like, and I'm super excited. I'm super excited and I'm super stoked about it, but I'm not focusing my energy on that, like I just know. There's just a deep knowing inside of me that it is coming. I don't know when it's coming, I don't know exactly what. There's a lot of things that I desire, but I know that I'm falling in love with the process of what my day-to-day life looks like and that whatever is coming is going to be really freaking good. But the reason I know it's going to be good is because I already love what I have right now, and so it's this process of fully falling in love deeply with your life and the things that you've built and the actions that you have to take every single day to continue to become the person that you desire to be.
Speaker 1:Okay, this podcast is meant to inspire you to get you out of that lack of not there yet. Okay, I've been there. We all want to have the million dollar home. We want to have the successful loving relationship. We want to have the amazing friend group right. We want to have the successful business. We want it all. I get it. We want it all. We live in a society where we desire it all. But if we look and focus back on gratitude and thankfulness and look around our home and our community and look how much we've already built and all of the work that we've already done, and remember that if we continue to take the action, the beautiful blessings are going to continue to pour in. And this is your reminder to continue focusing on gratitude and being thankful in your life for all of the things you've been blessed with. You have not only been blessed with these things by God, but you have intentionally created your life to have all of these things that you want. So do not forget the power that you have every single day to choose how you are living. Right To choose the actions, to choose the steps, to take the initiative in your life to build all of the things you truly, deeply desire.
