Speaker 1:

One, two, three and to the phone. What is up? Mindfully, moody babes, it's Hannah and I am here with another episode. I'm excited to get into the episode and chat with you guys and see what is going on. So it is December 8th currently it is Sunday and the Christmas spirit is here.

Speaker 1:

Okay, and I am obsessed with the new year. If you're not obsessed with the new year, what are you doing? If you just feel like the new year is just like another passing date, then maybe this episode isn't for you. This episode is for people who really love an opportunity to reinvent themselves. Okay, and that's what the new year is all about.

Speaker 1:

To me, the new year is just this moment in time where we're able to look back on the previous year and say did I enjoy this year? Did I fall in love with the person who I became this year? What kind of things did I accomplish? What lessons did I learn? It's just such a great moment to look back on your year and reflect on the things that have happened. Life is just one big journey of learning, and so, if you're not learning from your past, what are you doing? Literally, what are you doing? It is my goal in life to just live the most peaceful, content, joyful life possible, and I believe that where I'm currently at in my life and how I'm currently feeling about my life and the things that I've built is because I have taken time to reflect, go inward, analyze what didn't make me feel good in order to create an abundant life of joy, of purpose, of passion, of excitement, and I contribute that to me reflecting on the past and seeing where I could improve and seeing where I could do better and make changes to bring in more abundance and all of that. So I want to talk about that today, on how you can reinvent yourself for 2025 and building a vision for yourself that you're going to look back at the end of 2025 and be like I did that, I did the damn thing and I'm proud of myself and I love the person I've become.

Speaker 1:

I just I feel like life is too short to not fully be in love with the life that you have, like I've been there firsthand where I felt like I was just waking up to live another day. Just waking up to lack of better terms suck the day's dick, oh God. But I've been there where I wasn't excited to wake up Flashback, maybe back in 2020, even before that, you guys, wow when I was married, that feels like a whole another lifetime being married. But I just remember being in that moment of lowness, like I am not coming from this perspective of like, oh my gosh, my life's always been like this. No, like I was deep in the shit for a long freaking time where I woke up and I wasn't excited to live the day. I didn't like my job, my relationship was absolutely horrible, toxic, like unhappy jealousy, like it was just not good. I looked in the mirror and I did not like who I saw. Like there were so many things that I did not enjoy about my life five years ago, and so just to see what kind of transformations can come with intentionality is huge. Because now it's like I look at my life and I'm so joyful every single day, I'm excited to wake up and live the day. I love who I see in the mirror, I love all of the relationships and the connections that I've built, and that's because intentionality is how I build my life. Intentionality is how I live every single day, of being intentional of every move that I do in order to curate this life. So I want you to think about this.

Speaker 1:

Here are some things that you can do in order to reinvent yourself in 2025 and build a vision that is going to make you feel the most fulfilled. So the first thing, what you can do, is one to start and look back at 2024 and say, like what were some of the highlights of your year? What are some of the things that brought you the most joy and excitement and love? And like what of the things that brought you the most joy and excitement and love? And like what are the things that, like, lit your soul on fire? And really sit in those moments and analyze them and say, like what was it that made me feel like that right For me, reflecting on 2024, and like what lit me up and made me the most excited is one.

Speaker 1:

The first thing that comes to mind is just getting out in nature and having a consistent, regular practice of movement in nature. I was at church this morning and the whole lesson in church was getting outside. Get outside without distraction and just be open to whatever will come. What messages will come in nature and that's where I spent so much time this year is outside, reflecting, being open, being grateful for the beautiful weather. Nature is just such a healing place and I know that anytime I'm outside, I just know I'm going to feel happier. So that's something that, like, has been very apparent to me is that's something that brings me joy.

Speaker 1:

So I challenge you to think about that, right, maybe you pause this podcast if you need to, but think about what are the things this year that brought you so much joy and really helped you feel super connected to yourself and who you are Like. I want you to think about those moments where you, like, close your eyes and you just like, almost like, feel like there's this lightness that fills your body. That's the magic. Those are the moments, like, do more of those, right. So reflect on that and come up with a handful of things that made you feel that way. And then, for me, what is really really helpful is to carve back and audit and say what were the things that didn't bring me joy, what were the things that stole my peace? What were the things that caused me anxiety, what were the things that put me into a state of depression right, yeah, it's not really fun to look at these things, right, reflecting on 2024 and saying what made me down bad the most, right, like, that's not enjoyable to experience that.

Speaker 1:

But when we can go and dive in and look at the things that maybe did steal our peace, we're able to kind of understand them deeper and correct them and say like, okay, well, this happened because maybe I did this and I chose to go down this path. So that put me in this state of did this and I chose to go down this path, so that put me in this state of lack or this state of scarcity or fear. And by looking at those moments you can kind of say like I noticed that was a pattern in my life and I no longer want to bring that same unhealthy, toxic pattern with me in this new year because I am doing all that I can to not allow other things to steal my peace. So for me, all that I can to not allow other things to steal my peace. So for me, looking at just the pattern of drinking was a huge, huge thing reoccurring. I'm sure if you're listening to this, you probably had a party era at some point in your life and for me it was really taking a look at that. I never had a problem with alcohol ever, but I definitely binge drank and I over drank, right, and it's just like, if you really think about it, drinking is so unhealthy for you. It's just so bad Like the fact that I would waste so much of my time and energy and life being hung over. It's just mind blowing. So I'm happy that I have a different relationship with it. But I had to really take a cold, hard look at myself and be like you know, what value is this bringing me? I noticed that, you know, drinking was stealing my peace. It was stealing my peace the next day. It was making me not feel good. I was like what is this adding to my life? Right, like, I'm going out, I'm getting drunk and this was I mean, not even like last year, but many years in the past. You know, just really taking a look at the things that are stealing my peace and how I can limit those. Right, like maybe you're not going to completely remove them, but how can I limit those? Right? Maybe it's like you go out four times a month or something and then you're like hung over. It's like how can you maybe limit that to like once a month or like twice a month? Right? So I was like I noticed those were the lowest moments, you know, like the next day when I would be hungover and I would be anxious. So for me it was like carving back on those moments. And then you know.

Speaker 1:

Another example could be like food. You know, maybe you have a toxic pattern of like binge eating and you notice that every time that you binge eat and you feel super full, now you're feeling guilty, now you're feeling shame, right. So like that is an unhealthy pattern. So how can you recognize that pattern that maybe exists in your life and how to limit that and correct that? Right? Correcting that could look like having better plans around the house in terms of eating, like maybe not buying unhealthy groceries, planning a night, a Friday night dinner with your friends, of like making some creative, delicious, beautiful meal, like there are so many ways to replace like unhealthy patterns. But we have to be aware of the unhealthy patterns that exist in our life in order to correct them.

Speaker 1:

So for me, just thinking about this year, you know I want to really share where I I I'm always actively improving. So I think that, like I always have an opportunity to kind of talk to you guys about, you know where I'm actively working on and improving in my life. So for me I will say this isn't necessarily like something bad, but I noticed the lack of structure in my life is not allowing me to hit goals that I want, and it's weird to say that because I'm such a structured person. Like structure is my life. But specifically what I'm referring to is working out. Like going to the gym has always been a struggle and challenge for me. Like I've had periods where I'm like, yes, like athletic era, you know like we're going, we're lifting weights, we're doing the damn thing, and then I just fall off the train and it's like I know that that's gonna make me feel good is like consistently going to the gym. So I think like that's something that does steal my peace, because it's like I have this sense of guilt that like I know I should be doing something but I'm not doing it, and so it's something that I definitely am going to look at. I'm not going to process fully on the podcast right now about my relationship with going to the gym and how I can make that more seamless, but that's something that I recognize of like okay, that's something that's kind of like causing me a little bit of anxiety and like guilt and like a little bit of weirdness that I'm gonna kind of dive into, as I'm doing, my own 2024 reflections and seeing how I can kind of bring more of this flow into my 2025. But definitely I know that working out is gonna be a big part of my next year, so that's what you can kind of do.

Speaker 1:

To start off, reinventing a new version of you in 2025 is one. Highlight the amazing things that happened to you in 2024, and then bring those in to 2025. Okay, and then I want you to analyze and audit, maybe, the things that stole your piece and how you can kind of remove those things from your life and replace them with something else, something new. And then number three is part of this whole visioning experience is reinventing who you desire to be.

Speaker 1:

I just think it's so beautiful that we can be whoever we want to be. We have no obligation to be the person we were yesterday or who we thought we were going to be tomorrow. We get to decide every single day who we want to be. How freaking cool is that that we have the freedom to choose, that we can be anyone that we want to be. We can work any job that we want to work. We can wear any clothes. We can express ourselves in any way. We can have conversations with anyone. Like we have the freedom to be whoever we want to be, and I think a lot of people are just held back by fears of society judging them, fears of being rejected, fears of not being loved, and it's like that is all a choice. Every single day, we have a choice to decide how we want to live our life, what kind of position we want to be in, how we want to see things about ourselves, beliefs that we have about the world and I just spilled my sparkling water. My dog gets so scared. Okay, um, and we just. Every day, we have a choice, and so I want you to think about that for yourself.

Speaker 1:

Like, how do you want to reinvent yourself this year, in the new year of 2025? Like, who do you want to become truly? Like, fast forward to December 2025. Like what do you look like? What kind of clothes are you wearing? Where are you living? Who are you in a relationship with? Who are your closest friends? What city are you living in? Just really get into this energy and this embodiment of who do you want to be.

Speaker 1:

For me, I love to really connect to how I show up in a room because I feel like that says everything, that like just confident, radiant, magnetic self, like energy is everything for me. And so I love to think about like that, who do I want, like how do I want to feel? And like what will my energy feel like? And at the end of 2025, because that needs to be a match of the physical right Okay, if I want to have energy showing up like this and this confident, radiant, just magnetic badass baddie babe, what is her life energetically look like and what is her life physically look like? So I challenge you to think about and really deeply think about and connect. I challenge you to think about and really deeply think about and connect emotionally, connect to her.

Speaker 1:

Close your eyes after this podcast and take 10 minutes to connect to that version of you who you want to become Energy-wise physically, mentally, emotionally, all of the things. You are the only person that holds you back, preventing you from getting the things that you want. So you get to decide. You are the director, babe. You are the producer, you are the creator, you are the writer, you are all of it of your movie okay, and you might win an Oscar this year. So get it right, get that movie right? Get your acting skills up, because if you're on YouTube watching, like, the thumbs up thing keeps popping up and that's just like validation.

Speaker 1:

For me, it's like, yeah, you're saying something, right, people are resonating, so really think about it. Right, physically, how do you want to look Physically? What do you need to do in 2025? Like you could think about all of these different areas of life, right? So in 2025, physically, what do I want my body to look like? Right, how much do I want to weigh? It was just so annoying. Maybe don't follow that, but how much do I want to move? What would feel really good for me in terms of exercise and what would feel really good for me in terms of health? Right, physically, okay. Mentally, how am I going to learn this year? I maybe have a goal to take a new course or read a book a month or go to therapy. What are some goals and some ways that you can improve that are going to align you with that end of the year version of you? What are things that you need to do in order to contribute to that person that you desire to become?

Speaker 1:

There's this beautiful exercise of being able to reverse engineer the person you want to become. So I challenge you to get out a piece of paper, get out a pen and write it down. Write the qualities down, like, if you want to be making, you know, 15 K in your business in 20, at the end of 2025, consistently per month, write that down as a goal. 2025, me is going to be making this much money. They're going to weigh this much. What kind of clothes are they going to wear? What kind of friends are they going to have? What kind of relationship are they going to be in? What city are they going to live in?

Speaker 1:

I want you to literally write out a movie of who you want to become and then what you can do is reverse engineer that say like okay, if I want to finally start that side hustle that I've been dreaming about for years, okay, well, how am I going to do that? So at the end of the year, end of 2025, if I would say like I am successfully running a business that feels super aligned with me, okay, well, what do I have to do each month in order to get there? And that's where the magic happens and that's actually how you're going to bring that vision to life. That reinvention to life is in the reverse engineering of the person you want to become. So maybe November you're signing your fifth client on your dream business, right Going to July, maybe you're like doing some sort of like business coaching something. Maybe January you're opening up an LLC and like a business bank account. Or January you're strategizing, creating your business manifesto and writing a business plan, right Like.

Speaker 1:

So I want you to think about, like all the things that you desire to become, what are the steps, the physical steps that you need to take in order to bring that thing to life right? One, it's a lot about the physical action, but two, it's also about the energetic. I always preach this all the time. It's like it takes both right Of becoming someone new. It takes some energy. You need to be an energetic match for that person that you desire to be and you need to take the physical action right To make sure that you are taking the correct steps in order to bring that thing, whatever it is, to life.

Speaker 1:

So I want you to think about that, write it out, write out this character of who you want to become and explore what that, what that looks like and what it would look like in order to become her. It's just an opportunity, it's an invitation. And you know, if you're listening to this and you're like Hannah, I'm good, I'm good girl because I know I am such a. I am such a person who is always reinventing myself, because I just always want bigger and better things for myself. So if you're someone who is saying like I'm good, I'm good on the self-development girl, it's like good I'm, I'm happy for you, I'm so proud of you that you feel so fulfilled in your life and you feel the sense of peace and you feel like you're there, like that's the goal to get there, to get to that like sense of contentment. But I think that life is also an ever evolving journey and we're always learning more about ourselves and it's just always there's. Every day there's an opportunity to become better.

Speaker 1:

Right, if we are not working on ourselves, we're stagnant, we could be complacent, we could lose that joy and that excitement and that novelty in life. So I just encourage you to look at yourself and your life and think about ways that you could bring in more peace, more satisfaction, more joy, more passion, more purpose, because life is so short, life is really really so short, and I learned this lesson the hard way, like by losing my dad when I was 17 and my stepdad at 18, like it just made me realize that life is truly so short and I really saw my dad be in so much sadness his whole life, like he suffered with depression and anxiety, and like that's why I am the way I am, because you don't know when your last day is and I don't want to spend my life being unhappy, being in anxiety, being in depression, like I want to cherish every single moment that I have in this lifetime and that's why I feel so passionately about removing the shit, removing the stuff that causes me angst and that causes me density and that causes me pain. Because life is so short, like life is truly so short, and so that's why I preach we preach this here on the podcast of like find that alignment, find the thing that opens your heart and just follow that. Because life is short, life is beautiful, and I'm on one today, y'all, I'm on one today.
