My name is Hannah and I'm joined by my bestie and co-host, sarah, and we are so grateful to have you on another episode of Mindfully Moody. Thank you for joining us. We love you. I hope you guys are enjoying this summer. When you're listening to this, it's probably like mid to late June. You got that nice summer tan going on. You're right like this will, yeah, when, when this drops, I will be married, I will be a wife.

That's crazy, I'm entering a new era.

Speaker 2:

I know I'm entering a new era and then hopefully a mom era sometime soon too. We'll see, but I can't believe it. I can't believe it, like when we started this podcast two and a half. When did we start?

Speaker 1:

two and a half years ago yeah, 2022 January dude.

Speaker 2:

Time is so weird, isn't it? So when we okay, let me, let me just not go into, like, my brain right now so deeply. Um, yeah, I was just in such a different place when we started this podcast, like I, I just can't believe how much my life has shifted over over the past two and a half years. I'm so grateful and because we've been recording for so long, we have so many episodes for you to go listen to, like from the first moments of us, like really getting our the ball rolling for our massive transformation that we have experienced. Like leaving our corporate jobs, like finding our purpose, all of these amazing things that we've gone through in our lives over the past two and a half years so many people can relate to, and all of that is available through all of our episodes.

Speaker 1:

I want to re-listen. I want to re-listen and see Me too. Me too, I love that. Well, we are talking today about something that I think is so relevant to so many people right now, because so many people that I know are in this very busy phase, I don't know. I think that so many people are just awakening, finding their purpose, finding the things that they like, and now they have so many different things going on in their lives. And while that's so amazing, there are also things that come along with that, and I want to share some of my own experience through this episode about how creating space in your life is so necessary Physical space, energetic space, emotional space physical space, energetic space, emotional space.

Speaker 2:

Creating that space is so necessary for the universe to bring you your truest desires, your manifestations, your dreams, whatever you want to call them. So, as you are caught up in this super go, go, go, go, go busy life, if things are not coming to fruition in the way that you are desiring them to, this could be the reason why. So that's what we're going to talk about.

Speaker 1:

Hell yeah, I'm excited, let's get into it.

Speaker 2:

Let's do it. Well. I'm curious, like let's start with what. What are some of your thoughts about this idea of if your life is so full of things things that some of them you might not like your life to be full of, like it basically creates this inability for you to welcome in your truest desires?

Speaker 1:

Where my mind goes like is physically, right away, like going back we've mentioned this in the past podcast but like going to my closet, like my closet is so full, exploding of clothes there's no space for new clothes, there's no space for room.

Speaker 1:

Like, and I just of clothes, there's no space for new clothes, there's no space for room, like, and I just feel like there's an energetic reason there.

Speaker 1:

But I have this, I think in myself too, of like thoughts and emotions that I'm feeling, maybe like there's some not high vibe thoughts, maybe there are beliefs that hold me down and I think that a lot of my thoughts can prevent me from like getting some things that I want, because I'm so attached to getting that thing.

Speaker 1:

And I feel like the thing that's coming up energetically of wanting these manifestations to be brought into this lifetime right for me to receive all the desires that I'm asking for, is this sense of non-attachment, like letting go of the need to have that thing. And it's like when you let that, let it go, like, yes, you can want something, but when you let the need of like, oh, my life's gonna be so much better with it, I feel like it comes and it's hard to let that go and it's hard to like, almost like release that, um. So I feel like, yeah, for me it's thinking a lot about, like energetically, how I feel attached to things and how I can release to allow it to free up space within me to welcome in something.

Speaker 2:

I love that. I actually, as you were talking, I'm like maybe it's interesting to go through a little like OK, let's talk physical, let's talk energetic, let's talk emotional and like kind of flow that way, because I do think that there are these different ways that this can show up for us. So if we talk about physical first, I love the closet thing. I love the closet thing We've talked to welcome in a partner, the idea of someone being with you long term and how, if you actually can clear out some of that, that it could create the physical space in your physical reality that someone would be able to step in. So I think that that's a super interesting like kind of manifestation technique. Yeah, or hack, whatever you want to call it to clear out things that are no longer serving you. This could be said of so many things, not just your closet, like clutter in general.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I have that. I'm having that in my house right now too, like it's I, my house always used to be like a sanctuary for me, of like feeling safe and feeling homey and like this, like sense of comfort and like just recently, the past two months, I've been like I don't know, like I just feel like my fate, my, my physical space feels stale. I've been thinking about like moving apartments and like or apartments or maybe move my desk, I need to get life in here. I feel like that's kind of I don't know exactly what I feel like it's calling on my intuition for a reason of I need to do something about this apartment. I think that is to feel more home and more grounded in myself.

Speaker 2:

So it's interesting of using that physical space also to see like what I need actually energetically, like how they play together yeah, I feel that way about my my space too, like I do not feel that it's my ideal, like setup and ideal space. And this is something like post honeymoon that I want to really really focus in on, because I feel like this is just not a lot, like it's not optimal for my my best potential to be coming through. And I felt this way when I was trying to start my coaching business even earlier on from my house and I had just moved here and I literally didn't have a desk that I was comfortable to work from. And it's like how could I take on coaching clients when I don't even have somewhere to coach them? So, like this idea of if you don't have a space, a physical space, to do something in, how can you actually get that?

Speaker 2:

And it doesn't have to be like all right, you're going out, you're doing, spending 10 grand on your dream office right now and creating it. You know I mean, listen, we welcome that in, we receive that. But this could be literally finding, you know you want to start a side hustle and like your house is just not set up for that and you need time where you can go and be dedicated and be on your laptop and doing research, so you find an amazing coffee shop that you love, that you're going to work from two days a week. It doesn't have to be like you know you're. You're redesigning your entire home from the ground up Although I do want to do that but creating like these physical spaces so that you can allow your dreams to flow in yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Now I'm getting excited because I'm thinking about business, but we were talking about this with Mindfully Moody Like, if you want to have a thriving business, if you're desiring for your business to bring in multi millions every year, do you have the physical space set up for that? Do you have a bank account for your business? Do you have physical systems in place that are going to allow you to funnel people into your business, like setting that up online? So, like, physically, you're taking the action that way, like energetically which we'll cover soon like those manifestations can actually come to life. And I feel like it's like we can just use this example physically, with so many things, right, if you desire to have your, your dream body, right, you're manifesting, like feeling so healthy and like loving who you see in the mirror. Are you physically moving your body? Are you physically going on walks, lifting weights, exercising, nurturing your physical body to get that desired result that you're manifesting into your life?

Speaker 2:

Like it's not only just physical things, it's also like physically, like in the physical world yeah, absolutely in my own life right now, the the thing that this is showing up the most in is I desire to grow my coaching business and, although I like to think business, and although I like to think, that I like to think, although I do think that time is a concept and that time is not real in a lot of ways, we do have a certain energy expenditure that is possible during a day. Right. So, right now, I am planning my wedding, obviously, planning my honeymoon, taking over my family business. I have Mindfully Moody, I'm planning a retreat, I'm doing my coaching business. I'm, you know, a friend, a daughter, a partner Like I. All of these things are going on in my life right now. Right, and I'm wondering OK, well, I want more clients. Why isn't this happening? Like just receive that list that I just shared and then think how the hell could that happen in my life? Right now, I am showing the universe that I'm literally at capacity.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I'm at physical capacity, I'm tired. You know, like I have a lot of energy but like I don't come home from a long work day when I got up at six to go to the gym. And you know, sometimes I definitely coach in the evenings and like I do business things in the evenings but I'm not the person that's going to be working till midnight. That's not my, that's not who I am. I'm not working a 18 hour day. You know, like some man would say that you need to do to become an entrepreneur and go get your dreams, Like that's just not for me, that's misaligned for me.

Speaker 2:

So I'm showing the universe, I'm at capacity. So how am I going to step into that if I'm at capacity? So now I've been in this deep belief of OK, well, now you know I get back from my honeymoon, I'm cleared of wedding planning, I'm cleared of honeymoon planning, I'm my, you know, business that I'm my gallery is like slowing down right now, Like, so now it's like. Now is the ramp up period where I'm showing the universe. I have the physical space right now and the energetic space to welcome in more clients and that it will serve me versus work against me.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. Another example that's coming up is with dating. Like I had this friend who she desired to be in a loving, committed relationship, but she still had this situation ship on the side, where she was like hooking up with him that you know they were hanging out like bi-weekly, not going to be ever in a committed partnership, so he was physically taking up space in her life. And I'm like, if you, if you want this, don't you think that this could be like actually energetically and physically blocking you from creating space to actually have someone there? So think about that from the dating perspective too. If you desire to get married and have kids and have a family, like, how are you physically creating space for that person? Are you just going on random dates with random people all the time? Like, are you, you know, giving your energy to all these people, texting them? Like, are you going out? Like, how are you creating that space for the person physically that you would love to fit in to your life?

Speaker 2:

that is such a good example the situationship example because so many women experience this being in, you know, a relationship that is never going to materialize into something that's going to be long term and super serious and like a true love story, and you're literally blocking the universe from bringing you your true, aligned partner because you have someone taking up space in your life. Actually, that hits all of them physical, energetic and emotional space in your life. Actually, that hits all of them Physical, energetic and emotional space in your life. That's showing the universe. I don't have space for this, so don't bring it to me.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and if we move, even like on this example, to the energetics, right, physically, that person's in my house, they're taking up space, they're-.

Speaker 2:

Time.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, in many areas of my life. Yeah, but energetically as well, like my, my energetically, emotionally. I'm thinking about this person.

Speaker 1:

I'm like working but I'm like wondering, like why aren't they texting me? Even if it is a situation ship, I'm saving my Friday night for him to come over and Netflix and chill, when I could be out like at a dinner with my girlfriends or out like at a cool event, like meeting new people who actually do want that same thing that I want. So, like energetically, like maybe you don't think, maybe in your head you're kind of like this is just a situation ship, like it's not going anywhere, there's nothing, but like you're giving all of that space to somebody when you could be putting that space towards attracting that partner that is going to give you what you actually desire, or just putting the energy into yourself, filling yourself up your cup up and being that just most like magnetic version of yourself to attract that that person person Such a good point.

Speaker 2:

This hits so hard because it's just so real. Like when you are so focused on on one thing and this could be said for a relationship or literally anything in life Like if you are so focused on one thing, whether you want to be or not. You know, like someone that I saw so many people like this in when I was working in corporate and I'm sure you did too that were literally living and breathing for their job. However, they didn't like it, you know. Like they were like miserable, but they were constantly like trying to be the best. Like they were always trying to overachieve, like all these things Right, but like it wasn't working out exactly how they desired to, but they were pushing themselves to the bone. They were working late nights. They were, you know, always like going on business trips and trying to be that person that's raising their hand, yes, but then they're like, why aren't, you know? Why aren't things working out for me? Like, why aren't whatever?

Speaker 2:

You have filled your life with this stuff that you don't like, so how could you ever, you know? Oh well, my dream is to work, you know, in marketing at X, y and Z company instead of this job, like how could anything like that ever even come into your orbit or your energy field? Because you're so consumed with what you're doing? How could a relationship even come into your energy field? Because you're so consumed with what you're doing, like you've made that your complete and utter identity. It's taking your physical time, your energetic time, your emotional time, your spiritual time. Everything is wrapped up in whatever you have that hyper focus on. So there's no space in your life to welcome in other things, and this is why you see people that are married to their jobs like not get married in real life or have failed relationships or whatever. Because there's no space for that in their life. So the universe is not going to gift them with that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Powerful. Also like thinking about energetically. Where are your thoughts going, like what? What stories are you telling yourself that could be blocking you from getting your manifestations? Like, I always forget the quote, how this goes, but it's like attention goes where energy flows.

Speaker 1:

Quote how this goes, but it's like attention goes where energy flows. Is that right? Yeah, right. So what beliefs are you having in your life about these things that you want, if you desire to have a romantic relationship, if you desire to buy your dream home, if you desire to step into your purpose and live in full alignment? When you're thinking about these things coming to into fruition in your life, what beliefs are coming up? Is it beliefs? What is the energy around it Right? Do you believe that that's possible for you? Do you believe that you're going to have that one day, that you're going to be successful?

Speaker 1:

Or are you having these limiting beliefs, like these things that are blocking you, that saying, no, I can't do this, I won't do this? He's like limiting ideas because, like, that has such a big impact on allowing the universe to send that in. If we don't think that it's possible, it's not going to be possible. Therefore, we will never get it. So many people just have these beliefs that block them. They don't even realize that they're there from past traumas, past stories, our parents programming all of that. So, thinking about, like, how we can clear that, to get in a energetic alignment of the desires that we want, that are going to actually get us there so good creating the space, literally in your emotional, energetic body, to take on these new beliefs.

Speaker 2:

If you are so full of, I'm never going to have the life I want. I'm never going to, you know, live up to my parents' expectations. I'm never going to have a job that I like. I'm always going to be single. I'm never going to be able to find a relationship that works for me, like all of these limiting beliefs. I'm never going to, you know, be, have the body that I want, have whatever it is for you.

Speaker 2:

And that's the story that you're telling yourself constantly, constantly, constantly, constantly, constantly, constantly. There is no space for new like, literally, also physically, there is no space for new neuropathways to get formed, like. You have to start making that step towards. What if I actually thought differently about this? What if I thought I could have my dream job? What if I thought I could have my dream job? What if I thought I could find the person that I'm supposed to be with and start to get curious about that, even if you're not embodying that immediately? Obviously, that's not realistic. If you've been living a life of telling yourself a certain set of beliefs every day, every moment, you're not going to be able to jump directly into this new set of beliefs. But how can you start to get curious? Because even just getting curious starts to create space of the potential that this could be different.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, and it's like our brain, our mind, our bodies, like they're going to be consumed, most likely with something, right, like, can we just say like, oh, I have this belief that I don't want to have get rid of it. Now there's going to be extra space, like, no, we're probably going to now have that, that space be, have a different belief of some sort, right? So if we're going to have these beliefs in our head that are taking up space, we want those beliefs to be working for us, right, like?

Speaker 1:

getting us to the place that we want to be. So how can we like, yeah, create that awareness, get curiosity of why it's there, and then kind of transform that to be a belief in energy that we actually want? And that's, I think, why we talk about all these practices that we do to stay mindful when we are feeling moody, get a tagline going there.

Speaker 1:

When our head, when our energy, when our energy is feeling off, when we're not feeling like ourselves, when we're having these beliefs that are bringing us down, that's when we bring in these mindful moments to kind of move through that right, whether that is meditation, taking some time just to like sit in silence and allow your brain to clear, whether that is moving through a sequence of breath, like doing different kinds of breath work right, ice baths, working out, going for a walk in nature, grounding, a walk in nature grounding Like there are so many ways that we can kind of get into our bodies and get out of our heads so we can kind of move through these dense emotions. It's so important to have that toolkit, like of what to do when you're feeling that and where to go from there, because I know firsthand that it can be ruminating when we're in that bad energy and how to move out of it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's so important to give yourself grace as well. Doing any of these things physical, energetic, emotional trying to create space in your life I mean, even going and saying right now I'm going to clean out my closet is hard, you know. It's like all of these things put you up against something. But if this is an alignment of you stepping into your power, into your purpose, into you as a sovereign being, then it's damn worth it, right, Like it's worth you making these shifts in your life. If you are living in a home where you wake up every single day and you know you're uncomfortable and you're not like I'm literally thinking right now about me being in. I took a call yesterday and I've taken one with you too from my dad's office at at our business and it literally makes me uncomfortable when I'm in there because it's like so cluttered, Like if you're waking up in that every day and you're feeling like, oh my gosh, overwhelmed by this, I don't have the space to do this. I don't have the space to, you know, start a business in my home. I don't have the space to, you know, start a business in my home. I don't have the space to even have like a moment of peace in my home to sit down and read a book or, to you know, whatever it is journal, meditate, like I don't even have this space to take this to the next level. Start to figure out how you're going to shift. That I mean. If you listen to our podcast, you know that we're all about shifting and evolving and growing into the next era evolution of you and what is meant for you and sometimes we must clear space.

Speaker 2:

Relationships is something that's popping into my head too. Relationships is something that's popping into my head too. If you like, dream of having a really great friendship. I'm thinking from a friendship lens. You know you dream of like what would it be like to have this great best friend who supports me and uplifts me and elevates me and I can talk to about X, y and Z, but you are surrounding yourself with a bunch of people that don't give you what you're actually looking for.

Speaker 2:

You're going out and partying with them on the weekend rather than actually like just repeating a habit in a pattern, rather than finding a friend who wants to get up and get a coffee and breakfast and go to the farmer's market with you on a Saturday, which is what you actually want to do Like, but you're hung over in bed ordering dominoes. We've been there, okay. We've been there like how is that friend gonna come into your life, you know? So I feel like this is such a potent episode because this is real shit like this is real stuff that people deal with, that you make excuses for why things aren't coming into your reality when you are actually working against yourself and you might just not realize it. So welcome to your reality check.

Speaker 1:

Damn yeah, period. And the other thing that we just want to touch on is emotionally, and the other thing that we just want to touch on is emotionally right, where are your emotions going? How are you feeling on a daily basis? Are you feeling sad? Are you feeling excited? Are you feeling energetic? Our emotions hold a frequency right, and what we put out into the world is what we receive back. So if we're always feeling this level of guilt, the shame, right Constantly, in this low vibe energy, what are we going to receive back from the world? Most likely that.

Speaker 1:

So how can we kind of shift our emotions right when we are feeling sad? How can we kind of alchemize that and make ourselves feel a little bit better? Of course, honor yourself.

Speaker 1:

If you need to have a sad day, you need to feel emotions, you need to feel anger, feel that, be in that, but don't stay stuck in that too long, right when you're kind of starting to feel the impacts on it. How can you alchemize that and process that? Like, if you're feeling angry, punch it out, scream it out, release that emotion and move through it, because I know we can so like often, like stay stuck in those emotions and then not process them and then they get stuck in our bodies. Go listen to that past episode, maybe three episodes ago, where we talk about emotions getting stuck in the body. Super powerful, but yeah, where are your emotions? When it comes to your manifestations, if you want to feel love, if you want to feel excitement, if you want to feel expansion, how can you get emotionally connected to those feelings today, now, right now? By revisiting when you felt those in the past and getting into alignment emotionally.

Speaker 2:

Yes, this is so important and what's coming to me as well is, if you are consistently getting some of these denser emotions arising for you sadness, guilt, shame, anger, frustration this is a call as well that you need to go deeper within, because if this is constantly arising for you, like you're being told something, there is something that you can heal within yourself and that is so amazing that you are getting that opportunity and that call to say okay, I need to go deeper within because I don't want to live the rest of my life feeling guilt and shame. I want to figure out where this guilt and shame is coming from, drop into that, do shadow work, do some deep, deep self-reflection. This could take, however long it takes for you. You know it could be a day, and it comes up every once in a while. It could be months. You know it could be a day and it comes up every once in a while. It could be months.

Speaker 2:

It all depends on what your experience is and what you're healing from. But it is a sacrifice to go into that healing space and that deep work. But the long-term results are massive massive because that's actually being able to clear the space to welcome in those more uplifting and elevating emotions joy, happiness, peace, community, like having that sense of that. So you sometimes are being called to go deeper within and work on figuring out. What is that, what? What does that mean for me?

Speaker 1:

yes, and we just like talk about this because we've been there and we're going through it still and this is like what helps us. I just come to these realizations like damn, you know, I wish I could listen to this like eight years ago, and then like understand how I could actually move through some of these things to make these manifestations come to life quicker, and just like feel better, feel better about life. You know, when you go internal and reflect and understand the stories, like it just it creates freedom, honestly, freedom from the past, freedom from the fear of the future, and it just drops you in this moment. So, yeah, use some of these practices to explore yourself and to find more freedom in your life.
